Notice of Legal Action for Non-Compliance with Eco-Schools Malaysia Regulations
We, the Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF), as the national operator of Eco-Schools Malaysia programme, hereby issue this notice to inform all participating schools and external organisations that failure to adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by our organisation will result in legal action.
Provide training to other schools
This refers to teachers or school administrations training other schools without consent from GGAF.
Any teacher or school administration who engages in training other schools without obtaining prior consent from GGAF, and without having attended the coaching training organised by GGAF and obtaining the necessary certification, will be found in violation of our regulations.
Organising programmes under Eco-Schools Malaysia
This refers to schools organising their own programmes using Eco-Schools Malaysia’s brand, resources and materials without approval from GGAF.
Schools are strictly prohibited from organising any programmes that utilise the Eco-Schools Malaysia brand, resources and/or materials without obtaining explicit approval from GGAF.
Selling self-made Eco-Schools Malaysia merchandise
This refers to schools selling self-made merchandise using Eco-Schools Malaysia and its partners’ logo without approval from GGAF.
Any school found to be selling merchandise featuring the Eco-Schools Malaysia and/or its partners’ logos without prior approval from GGAF will be considered in breach of our regulations.
Using Eco-Schools Malaysia brand for marketing purposes
This refers to schools using the Eco-Schools Malaysia and partners’ branding for their marketing purposes.
Schools are strictly prohibited from using the Eco-Schools Malaysia and its partners’ branding for their marketing purposes without proper authorisation from GGAF.
Arranging tours under Eco-Schools Malaysia
This refers to schools arranging tours under Eco-Schools Malaysia without proper approval from GGAF.
Any school that organises tours under the Eco-Schools Malaysia programme without obtaining proper approval from GGAF will be deemed in violation of our regulations.
Using the logo of Eco-Schools Malaysia and their partners
This refers to schools not registered under Eco-Schools Malaysia using the Eco-Schools Malaysia and partners’ logo.
Any school not officially registered under the Eco-Schools Malaysia Programme but found to be using the Eco-Schools Malaysia and partners’ logos will be considered in breach of our regulations.
This notice serves as a final warning to all participating schools and external organisations to comply with the rules and regulations set by Eco-Schools Malaysia and its national operator, GGAF.
Failure to comply will result in immediate legal action without further notice.
